Description
PET strapping is short for polyester strapping, which is well used when polypropylene strapping is not strong enough. Polyester strapping will withstand higher tensioning than other plastic strapping up to 20% higher, with equivalent break strengths. It will retain tension on rigid loads better than other non-metallic strapping. PET strapping can be used in hand tools or machine strapping. Polyester strap most closely resembles steel strapping in its physical characteristics, especially black PET strap, which looks same as steel strapping. polyester strapping is significantly lower in cost than steel strapping, a lot safer to use, and easier to dispose of.
